We purchased these pots and pans for our 2 year old for Valentines Day to go along with the Melissa and Doug Kitchen he received for Christmas. They are a perfect compliment to the kitchen and he plays with them everyday. All of our friends can’t believe how tough and sturdy the pans are – really a great product.

These toy pots and pans are the most durable ones I have ever seen. And that is what you need with children. They are sturdy and yet really cute and usable for the toy food. Perfect sizes and colorful. Would buy from Melissa and Doug again. They make great products.

We got these to go with the Melissa and Doug kitchen set. They are really nice. Paint wasn’t totally perfect on one of them, but no big deal. Our son really likes them.

I purchased this set for my 2 year old grandson. He is having a wonderful time “cooking imaginarily” with these sturdy pots and pans. They are beautifully made and definitely a quality product.

Although I haven’t seen the grandkids playing with this toy, I’m told it was a great success. The other grandparents provided the “food” and the 4-year old made “soup”. It was a busy day in the kitchen.

I WAS NOT SURE ABOUT WOODEN PLAY TOYS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY CAN HIT EACH OTHER WITH THEM, BUT THEY LOVED THEM AND THEY ARE DURALBE TO THE ROUGH TREATMENT OF THREE YEAR OLD

We bought this set of wooden pans to go with our new play kitchen. I like the wooden set because it is so durable. The lids are so sturdy too. The metal ones stratch up walls and are so loud. My kids love these and I would highly recommend them. The wooden spoons and mitten are just their size too.

I purchased these beautiful wooden accessories for my grand daughter’s play kitchen. She is a spunky 27-month-old whose real kitchen has a tile floor. My concern was that metal pots and pans would make too much noise when dropped, hence wood should be better in that regard.
These pots and pans make a sonorous “thwack” instead of metallic clang. Not enough of a trade off. They are quit heavy for a little tyke and, when filled with liquid (usually from a toilet, which is at “that” height), can make an huge mess.
I would suggest that, due to size and weight, these be targeted at 5+ and that parents of young children think more than once before they tile their kitchen floors (teeth not withstanding). Solid product.
