Our daughter likes this a lot
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Our 10 month old loves to spin it to keep sounds or music going
I appreciate that the volume isn’t too loud in the low setting (a real problem in too many toys)… the variety is good: the music, animal sounds and letter settings are all different. Note that the animal sounds are a bit exxagerated… they had to find an animal with “X”, so they say “X-Ray Fish” (not even sure that’s a real fish!) and of course the sound is made up.
A good buy, since “spinning” is a pretty interesting concept to have a baby figure out.
Favorite toy so far – gets our highest recommendation

We bought this toy for our son when he was 4 months old and he loves it! It is his favorite toy still (7 months old now) and it always seems to entertain him. We stopped using it as entertainment during feeding time in the high chair, as it is very difficult to clean between all the grooves and crevices on the sides of the wheel. However, it is very good quality, has catchy songs, and is overall an excellent buy – it gets our highest recommendation for infant toys.
Fun for all ages

We got this as a Christmas present for our daughter (when she was 4 months old). We set it up on her high chair to keep her entertained while we made her food. It took her a week or so to figure out that she has to spin the middle part and now she loves this being a part of her routine. She only plays with it for a couple of minutes while the food is being warmed/prepared so it doesn’t reach the annoying level – but I can see how it could. I do have to say that I’ve never heard an x-ray fish, but I don’t think it’s sound is bzzzz. Other than that, I think this is a great toy to teach even younger kids dexterity and older kids about the alphabet and different animals (regardless or how silly the sounds may be). My daughter actually gets a kick out of it when I try to imitate the crazy sounds!
My 8 month old daughter loved it at 6 months and still loves it at one year!

We also bought this for a friend’s first birthday and she loves it. It has at least three settings, one for just abc’s, another for the animals, and the third for both, including singing the abc song.
A perfect attention-keeper

We’ve had this ball for a month now.
My daughter (10 months) didn’t care for this ball at first because, I think, she didn’t understand it was meant to be spun. After a day, though, she was hooked. The ball sits around on the floor amongst her other toys and she visits and revisits it many times during her independent play time. The ball beckons her back with a little reminder that it wants her to spin an animal, or spin a letter, or that the ABC song is still not done, and she loves to keep it happy by spinning it! haha! It’s also an especially good toy during meal-time. It’s when she’s in her high chair that she really keeps her attention on it and looks at the letters as they’re spun, and she’s even picked up a selection of favorite animal sounds since she’s begun playing with it. She even is learning to sign “monkey” because of it! She spins monkey and listens to the sound, then I make the sound again, then I show her a monkey stuffed toy, and then she looks at the ball, and makes the sign soon after!
It is also a very durable toy; it is has survived a spill onto the floor from the high chair *every single day* we’ve had it.
nice prodcut, keeps my bb entertained

This is a fun toy for it’s price…I can’t imagine paying [...] bucks for the other discovery ball..this one works just fine…the songs are entertaining and my bb loves to spin it. Overall, it’s well worth the money.
My 6 month old is entertained

I was given this and have let my daughter play with it starting around 5 months. The sounds catch her attention and she moves the wheel around. She isn’t sitting yet, but she can push up well and spin the wheel with one hand. Sometimes it’ll be at her feet and she’ll play with it that way! It’ll occupy her for a few minutes, about as long as any other toy she has.
Also, for parents, the songs and sounds are not annoying. They’re pretty catchy. I like that my daughter hears what letters sound like. If I think that mode might be too boring I switch it to the animal noises.
Just be watchful, as with any toy, because if your baby is rolling around with this toy, it might fall sideways and baby might bump their head against it.
I can imagine us making up games to play with this once she’s older and has learned the alphabet!
Overall this is a great, educational, uncomplicated toy.
Love it!
. The music is fun and engaging….my 1 yr old dances to it:) too cute… All in all I love this…I bought for my 1 yr old for her birthday.

This is a very sturdy and educational toy. My one yr old would repeatedly drop it but it’s still in great shape. I love the feel of the product overall…it feels firm not flimsy. This toy automatically turns itself off when not in use and you have two different volume controls. My 4 yr old also tries to take it and play with it
Engaging toy

We bought this item for my son when he was 8 months old. He immediately knew how to spin it loved all the sounds it makes. The voice of the toy isn’t as annoying as other sound toys. We will leave it on the floor and he will spin it many times, leave it for another toy and then come back to it again. He does this over and over. Some of the sound effects make him smile or laugh. It is VERY durable. He is now 11 months old and will still play with it – ROUGHLY. He will flip it over and over pushing it all around the house. No paint chips, scratches or other problems. Very tough for a toy.
We are very pleased with this educational toy. I highly recommend it!

Love this toy. I bought it for my 8 month old granddaughter. She spins it, “dances” while she’s sitting, laughs and spins it again.
