Lots of fun for my 2.5 year old!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my daughter when she turned one. Back then, she didn’t really “get” the concept of bowling and it was just fun for her to look at the animals. As she began to speak, she learned the animal names and sounds for each of these animals and had fun identifying them over and over again. Over the course of time, this toy got lost in the shuffle and made it’s way to bottom of the toy box. A few weeks back, she was talking about the fun she’d had with an outdoor bowling set over the summer at my parent’s house and I remembered we have this set. I brought it out and she’s been obsessed with it ever since! She asks for it almost every day now and it’s great because not only does she actually bowl now, but she knows the animals, their sounds, their colors, and the numbers printed on them. So we can say, “Knock over number 3!” and she knows which one we mean, or “Knock over the orange animal” and she gets it. It’s been a great way to teach her these things. Also, we live in a 3rd floor condo and this has been great since she can bowl and I don’t have to worry about bothering our lovely neighbors downstairs with pins and balls crashing around.
I was more interested in the toy!

As soon as we got this toy, I was more interested in this set than my son. He must of played with it twice and now it’s just collecting dust.
Fun game
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is a great toy for younger children because he helps with the skills of setting things up and hand-eye coordination. It also has imaginative faces. The bowling pins and ball are large enough but also pliable enough for little hands to get a hold of. All in all a good pick for youngsters in the 2-4 yr age.
Cute toy!

Great toy. It’s cute and fun. My 1 year old likes it as well as my 5 year old! All of the animals either jingle or rattle softly. Just enough to catch baby’s attention, but not annoy the parent!

I do believe this is a nice toy. Unfortunately, I purchased it without previewing it at a store. I think this toy would be more appropriate for older infants and younger toddlers than what I intended. I also thought it was a bit priced for what it is.
Trick ball and cute soft pins
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I bought this toy for my son’s first birthday. The toy is very soft and each pin makes a slightly different sound when knocked down. My only critique is that the ball does not go straight, but it is fun to see him play with it and it helps to teach him about different animals and hand coordination. Good purchase.
moderately enjoyed

I had bought this for a baby cousin 2 years ago (when he was about 15 months). He didn’t show any interest these cute bowling-pin animals and had preferred to run around rather than bowl. Only recently has he started showing interest in them- but only to throw around. I guess this item is better for more sedate children.
My 2 year old enjoys this toy

My 2 year old enjoys this toy. It only keeps her attention for about 20 minutes but she goes to it time and time again.
Two year old loves it
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my girlfriend’s two (and a half) year old for Christmas.
My girlfriend read the other reviews but thought they were over-exaggerated. Her thought was that her son would not have the focus to line up all of the pins and then hit them in a controlled manner; she thought that he wouldn’t be able to understand the rules of bowling and that the concept of the game was beyond his knowledge. She was right!
But, he loves it anyway. He likes to throw things and the ball is soft enough that he won’t hurt anything. He doesn’t line up the pins, but he plays with each one as if it was an individual stuffed animal. We’ve been able to explain to him about different animals and different animal noises with the help of this toy. He will, on occasion, stand up one pin and throw the ball to try to knock it down, with little luck. He seems interested though and it keeps him happy; that’s more important than a possible future career as a professional bowler.
cute toy

the bowling set is cute, but my 15-month old is not that interested in it. could be that she was overwhelmed with all the presents at Christmas, but she hasn’t played with it once, other than throwing the ball for my dog to chase… maybe in a few months she’ll find it more interesting.
