Too much expected of a 3 year old

I bought this camera from BJ’s for my daughter when she was 2. She’s now 3 and I thought she would have mastered it by now.
One day I decided to sit and try it and I realized that once you hit the button to take the picture you have to keep the camera on the image for at least a few seconds after taking the picture.
It’s as if there’s a delay in hitting the button and the actual picture being taken.
As no child is going to click the button and stay still after clicking let along understand that they should stay still, most of the pictures end up being a blur from her moving after she’s hit the button and rarely does she actually get a real picture unless I help her.
I am very disappointed with this product picture taking ability but it is very durable.
